Description
Phenolic board is an essential makeready board for hot foil stamping. It provide a firm backing material for excellent, crisp impressions, but it helps stop heat transfer from the die through to the cold side of your platen which occurs on every impression! Great for crisp, fine detail impressions on small to medium solid areas. Suitable for platen and particularly cylinder machines due to its cloth-impregnated core which provides great flexibility in the sheet. Phenolic will withstand a large number of impressions. Helps prevent show through on the reverse of the board.
