Description
Embossing film is a clear 19 micron thick non-adhesive foil film which can be applied over the female embossing die to soften and smoothout impression depth during embossing, and in particular prevent scenarios of “bottoming-out” the female die with the male counterforce which often pierces/heavily marks the embossed substrate. It can also be applied directly over the male counterforce to provide protection for the counter force throughout the production run. The protection provided means a longer lasting counter force and additionally can be used with other counter force systems.
